My Hometown

I live in S/C de La Palma. It is the capital city of La Palma. It is situated on the east cost of the island.The population of S/C de La Palma is around 20.000 inhabitants. It has the most important harbour of the island and the airport is neat.

The most important places in S/C de La Palma are the churches of El Salvador and San Francisco. Other important places are "El Castillete" ir "El Barco de la Virgen".

The main street of S/C de La Palma is "La Calle Real".Here you can find a lot of shops and a sqare called "La Plaza de España"

Living here has a lot of advantages; you have all at hand.For this and because it is a quiet city, I like living here.The only bad thing of S/C de La Palma is it is very small and you don't have many things to do.

My School

My school is very near my house (five minutes walk).The school name is Alonso Pérez Días. It is a big and old school.It has a lot of big classrooms and some special classroms ; labs , computer rooms , technology room, etc.We have two playgrounds and in one of them there is a canteem.
I like the two playgrounds , but I don't like one of the computer rooms because the computers are very old.
School is from Monday to Fridat.Lessons start at eight and finish at two.Everyday we have six lessons and two breaks : one at 9:50 and another at 12 o'clock.The lessons last fifty five minutes.
We have eleven subjects.Some of them are compulsory like Maths and English and some aren't , like French or Religion.

Description of Myself

My name is Héctor Royo Concepción and I live in S/C de La Palma, with my parents and my brother.I'm fourteen years old and I study in Alonso Pérez Díaz at 3º de La ESO.
I'm tall and medium build and I have black hair and black eyes. I think I am a happy person but quite shy.
I like going to the cinema and I also like watching DVDs at home.I prefer playing basketball to playing football.I love playing computer with my friends online.I have a lot of friends and I spend a good time with them.
